This Week on Quest: I’m Dropping Horizon Workrooms

Update: I have decided to not drop Horizon Workrooms because my computer looks terrible through passthrough. Back to the Workroom! Everybody back to the office!

I’m going to stop using Horizon Workrooms for one reason: I want sub-second context switching between a VR app.

I’m now using mixed-reality mode and I’ve increased the font size on my laptop so I can read the screen through the camera.

It’s not perfect but we’ll see what happens.

I’ve found Horizon Workrooms to be vastly superior to the single screen of the builtin Remote Display app, but both have their strengths and weaknesses.
