I’m grateful that I have a good library, because I obsessively borrow business books that are actually not that interesting to read.

I tend to alternate between reading a fiction and non-fiction book.

The last fiction book I read was The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Desert fiction is my ideal genre. The Horse and His Boy - if you know you know.

After reading this beautiful book, imagine my surprise that I read two business books which I could put down and had to labor myself to read.

$100m Offers and $100m Deals by Alex Hormozi were just okay.

Both were just okay, with maybe 3-4 useful pages total.

When a book isn’t interesting to me I either give up or I speed read like a demon to make sure I don’t miss any gold at the end of the rainbow.

I’m too old to be enamored by someone’s success story.
